Q: How can I become a member of the Association for Mineral Exploration BC (AME BC) and will this lower the cost of attending Mineral Exploration Roundup 2009? A: You can register for membership when you register for Mineral Exploration Roundup 2009. If you register as a member, you will save $100 on your conference registration. Q: Do I need to be a 2008 member to get the member discount? A: No, the member discount applies to 2009 members. You can purchase your 2009 membership when you register for Mineral Exploration Roundup 2009.
Q: What is included in the Member and Non-Member Registration? A: The 2009 Member and Non-Member registration allows access to the Trade Show, Technical Sessions, Non-ticketed Social and Special Events, Core Shack, Prospectors’ Tent, and the Poster Session.
Q: How can I find out if I am registered? A: Please call Conexsys Event Registration, our event registration company, at 1-877-307-6918
Q: What is your cancellation policy for registration? A: All requests for refunds must be made in writing. There will be a $53.00 ($50.00 plus $3.00 GST) handling charge for all refunds. There will be NO refunds after January 2, 2009.
Q: Can I be an exhibitor at the 2009 Trade Show? A: The trade show booths for Mineral Exploration Roundup 2009 are given to the exhibitors from the previous year with the first right of refusal and then any remaining and new spaces are allocated on a first come, first serve basis to the companies on the waiting list. Q: Can I purchase materials from previous Mineral Exploration Roundup's short courses? A: None of the other short course notes are available to be purchased. Q: Will there be a complimentary Shuttle Bus running this year? A: Yes, the shuttle bus will be operating every 30 minutes from the front entrances of the Westin Bayshore to two locations in the downtown business district (Waterfront Station and Sears).
